President Bafel's meeting with Rosy Cave

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Rosy Cave, British Consul General in the Kurdistan Region.

The most recent political changes in the area and ways to address the problems were reviewed in a meeting that included Rafaat Abdullah, the decision-maker of the executive board of the PUK political bureau, and Dr. Jwan Ihsan, a member of the PUK political bureau.

President Bafel Jalal Talabani cited national efforts to bring stability in various sectors alongside the government's actions to serve the people. He stated that cooperation and a shared vision on national issues are important factors in achieving lofty goals and ensuring a stable life for our people.

Another topic covered during the meeting was the election. According to President Bafel, this issue has a national scope and should be resolved through compromise with the parties. We are confident that all concerns will be resolved through dialogue and understanding, and our only concern is the prosperity of our region, not party interests.
