PUK Political Bureau stresses seizing chances for achieving unity

On Saturday, May 13, 2023, the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) met under the leadership of PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani.

The meeting's attendees, including Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, the PUK's Supreme Political and Interests Council member, welcomed President Bafel's return in good health. 

To improve people's lives and develop democracy, they assessed the political climates in Kurdistan and Iraq, underlining the necessity of political process unity and progression.

The Political Bureau expressed satisfaction with the favorable internal climate in the Kurdistan region and the desire of Kurdish parties and friends of our people to forge a national consensus and unite their resources. It additionally hoped for considerable improvement in governance as well as the success of the reform effort.
