PUK delegation attends Dutch National King's Day ceremony

On Thursday, April 27, a delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) attended the Dutch King's Day celebrations in Erbil and delivered flowers and congratulatory words from PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani to Jaco Beerends, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Kurdistan Region.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, the PUK delegation met with diplomatic envoys, counterparts, and guests in attendance.

Bakhtiar Bakr, the PUK's representative in the Netherlands, told PUKMEDIA: "The PUK has close ties with Dutch political parties, organizations, institutions, the Dutch government, parliament, the Dutch embassy in Baghdad, and the Consulate General of the Netherlands in the Kurdistan Region in particular, and both sides value these ties."
