Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, emphasized that improving relations with Baghdad is key to strengthening the Kurdistan Region.

"I discussed the opportunities and threats facing IKR & Iraq with French CG Olivier Dicottignies," Talabani said in a tweet.

"We agreed that resolving internal issues and improving our relations with Baghdad are key to strengthen IKR, accelerate economic growth, and provide better services to the public," he added.
