Qubad Talabani and Rosy Cave meet to discuss the flight restrictions on Sulaymaniyah airport

Qubad Talabani, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, met with Rosy Cave, the British Consul General in the region, and they spoke about the political climate in both Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

The issue of the suspension of some flights at Sulaymaniyah International Airport was covered in part of the meeting on Wednesday. In this regard, Qubad Talabani briefed the British Consul General on the details of the problem, explained that he was continuing his diplomatic efforts to settle the matter, and expressed confidence in their successful resolution.

The agreement between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad was also discussed during the meeting. According to Qubad Talabani, if any side does not fully abide by the terms of the agreement, it will not be put into effect, and the people of Kurdistan would suffer the most.
