Qubad Talabani meets with a delegation from Dana Gas Company

Qubad Talabani, the Deputy Prime Minister, met with the executive committee of the UAE's Dana Gas Company and stated that enacting the oil and gas law will result in enhanced and increased investment in this industry.
 
Ahmad Mufti, the Deputy Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government's natural resources, participated in the meeting in Sulaymaniyah Province, where they spoke about the works of the Dana Gas Company in the Kurdistan Region and the most recent political developments.
 
Qubad Talabani addressed the uprising of the Kurdish people on the anniversary of Sulaymaniyah's liberation before highlighting the most recent political developments and the relations between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad.
 
"We support the adoption of the oil and gas law, with the permission of all parties, since the adoption of this law would broaden and strengthen investment in this sector," the deputy prime minister stated while discussing the efforts made to draft the oil and gas law in Iraq.
 
During the meeting, the Dana Gas delegation outlined their goals and work plans and thanked Qubad Talabani for his assistance with security and the facilitation of carrying out their duties in the Khor Mor field.
