President Bafel attends a significant UN Secretary-General meeting

The President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Bafel Jalal Talabani, attended a significant meeting of the UN Secretary-General António Guterres and the political parties and figures at the request of the Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani.
The meeting, which was held in Baghdad, focused on the development of both Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, as well as the success of national initiatives aimed at protecting the rights of all Iraqi citizens and increasing services throughout the country.
President Bafel Jalal Talabani thanked the Prime Minister for the invitation and for setting up the meeting, and he praised Guterres for his significant role in the UN's coordination and collaboration in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. He hoped to continue their work toward the country's advancement.
President Bafel reaffirmed in his speech the importance of ongoing interactions and cooperation between political forces and parties in order to serve the citizens and preserve the stability of the country.
