A French commander praises the Peshmerga's importance in fighting terrorism

The Commander of the French Special Forces in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, Colonel Boris, and his accompanying military delegation were greeted by Jalal Sheikh Naji, the Director of Parastin and Zanyari/Zanyari Agency.

During the meeting, the importance of maintaining intelligence and military relations between the Kurdish Region, Iraq, and the coalition forces was highlighted in order to protect the region's most vital interests and advance greater stability and peace.

Naji also briefed the visiting party on their cooperation with Baghdad and their attempts to fight the remaining ISIS terrorists. 

The maintenance of security and peace, he said, "is an ongoing process that requires the support and cooperation of all parties, especially our allies in the coalition forces." 

He advised them to continue working together so they could accomplish their overall goals.

In addition, Jalal Sheikh Naji praised the commander of the French forces in Iraq and the Kurdish Region for his role in the past and the accomplishment of his mission. He also wished him success in his upcoming assignment.
