Introduction:
GroenLinks, often known as the Green Left Party, is a Dutch political party associated with the progressive left. It was formed in 1990 when the PPR, PSP, CPN, and EVP parties merged.
The majority of the party's over 33,000 members are young adults. The Green Bloc is comprised of its groupings in the Dutch and European parliaments. They have 537 municipal councilors in the Netherlands. The party holds the post of governor of Amsterdam and is among the most popular parties.
Like the PUK, the Labor Party is a social democratic, Socialist International and Progressive party. It was created in 1946 and served as one of the most powerful opposition groups throughout history.
For the objective of advancing the expansion of the left front in the Netherlands, the party has a program of rapprochement with the GroenLinks, and the two parties may form a combined list in the future.
As a first step, Labor and GroenLinks agreed to form a joint faction. With the holding of a joint congress by the two parties and the commencement of the practical phase of their joint work, a major milestone was reached.
