Qubad Talabani praises Germany's support in reforming the Peshmerga forces

Qubad Talabani meets a German delegation.
Qubad Talabani, the Deputy Prime Minister, praised Germany for its assistance and coordination in restructuring the Peshmerga forces and reforming the affairs of the Ministry of Peshmerga.
In the presence of Daban Shadala, Deputy Minister of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Qubad Talabani welcomed Tobias Lindner, Minister of State, to the Federal Foreign Office on Thursday.
During the discussion of the current situation in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, the visiting group emphasized their desire for compromise and agreement among the political parties in the Kurdistan Region.
In order to maintain stability and public interest regarding the situation in Iraq, the discussion focused on the requirement of achieving a consensus on all issues.
Qubad Talabani expressed gratitude to Germany for its assistance in restructuring the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces and the Peshmerga Ministry. He also noted the critical role they play in working with civil society organizations, particularly in reducing domestic violence and promoting freedom of expression, and he urged them to continue collaborating together.
