Women's handicraft exhibition opened in Kirkuk

An exhibition of women's handicrafts opened in the garden of the Directorate of Sports Activities in Kirkuk, by the Advisory Council for Women of the Kirkuk Province, for a group of women.

The exhibition comes as an attempt to provide job opportunities for women who are responsible for ensuring the family's life in Kirkuk.

A member of the Kirkuk Women's Advisory Council, Laila Muhammad, told PUKmedia, "In the city of Kirkuk, thousands of university and institute graduates have not been appointed to the public or private sectors."

"The opening of the exhibition is an attempt for women not wait to be appointed and to introduce their products through this projects and gain financial benefits." She added.
