A delegation of coalition forces visited the 2nd support force headquarter

Today, March 2, 2022, Colonel Douglas Brusson, head of the coalition forces' advisory team, accompanied by a delegation, visited the second support force of the Ministry of Peshmerga and was welcomed by Major General Hawraman Ahmed Mohammed, the deputy commander of that force.
In a meeting attended by Brigadier General Shwan Mahmud, Director of National Awareness, the steps taken to unite all forces and how to reorganize them within the framework of the Ministry of Peshmerga were discussed and emphasis was placed on cooperation and coordination with international coalition forces.
In the meeting, the return of the two support forces to the Ministry of Peshmerga was considered an important step, as a way to the unification of all forces.
For his part, the commander of the 2nd support force hoped the coalition forces would continue to cooperate so that their forces could move in a better direction.In the same context, the head of the coalition advisory team stressed that they would continue to cooperate with the Peshmerga ministry, as they had in the past. At the end of the meeting, the history of the creation of the 2nd support force and the components of the force and their future steps, as a force belonging to the Ministry of Peshmerga, were discussed.
