Iraq announces 568 new cases of Covid-19, 14 deaths

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 568 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, raising the total number to 2,073,835 in the country.

The Ministry also said that 14 more people died from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 23,642.

1006 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 2,032,310 in Iraq, the ministry added.

The new cases were recorded after 12,201 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.

The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 6,954,263  citizens.
