Kifri Keiseri (market)  The history of the Keiseri goes back to the nineteenth century, and it was built in a Kurdish construction style in 1850.  A group of beautiful building units has been added to the Keiseri. In the beginning, there were 150 shops in this place then it extended. But now the Keiseri is in a bad condition and many of the shops are evacuated.

These shops were used for old-fashioned jobs. besides, there were teahouses, bakeries, and restaurants, and some other shops for trading, for instance, trading coal mines.

This Keiseri is owned by people, but a part of the Keiseri collapsed and needs to be renovated. many of the shops are evacuated because it's too risky to stay there.

Since 2018, the renovation design has been completed and seven billion dinars have been allocated for the process, but no progress has been made due to the financial crisis.

"The word "Keiseri" is likely to be from Ottoman origin, but it is still used in the Kurdish language and means market."
