PUK leadership saddened by passing of Mazloum Abdi's mother

In a statement on Tuesday, the PUK leadership expressed their sadness by the news of passing of Khazna Haji Hussain, Mother of Mazloum Abdi, the commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

 

The following is the text of the statement:

 

"In the name of God

 

Esteemed Mazloum Kobane, General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, esteemed family of Dr. Khalil Abdi. We were greatly saddened by the news of the passing of Khazna Haji Hussain, Dr. Khalil Abdi’s spouse, and your mother. We extend our deepest condolences to you. May God grant your family relief from this suffering, and may she rest in peace and in paradise.

 

To God we belong and to Him we shall return.
