President Bafel: PUK Working to Bridge Political Divides in Service of the Public

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Sarmad Khamis al-Khanjar, head of the Sovereignty Alliance, at the former residence of President Mam Jalal in Baghdad.

The meeting, which was also attended by PUK Politburo member, Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, focused on the steps towards forming the new government and continuing national dialogue to complete the constitutional process.

President Bafel Jalal Talabani said: “All efforts by the PUK are directed towards bridging differences and bringing political parties closer together, so that we may work collectively in the service of the public.”
