Iraq Records Over $6 Billion in Oil Revenues in December 2025

Iraq's Ministry of Oil announced on Sunday that Iraq generated more than $6 billion in revenue from oil exports in December 2025.

In a statement received by PUKMEDIA, the Ministry confirmed that total oil exports and revenues for December 2025, based on statistics issued by the State Organization for Marketing Oil (SOMO), amounted to 107,651,061 barrels of crude oil, including condensates, generating revenues exceeding $6,388,429,000.

The statement noted that the total volume of crude oil exported from oil fields in central and southern Iraq during December reached 100,420,048 barrels.

The Ministry further explained that exports from the Kurdistan Region via Türkiye’s Ceyhan port amounted to 5,997,527 barrels, while exports to Jordan reached 309,712 barrels. In addition, 923,774 barrels were exported from the Qayara oil field.
