Iraq Earns Over $6.5 Billion from Oil Exports in November

The Ministry of Oil announced on Thursday that Iraq generated more than $6.5 billion in revenue from oil exports during November.

In a statement, the Ministry said it had released the total figures for oil exports and revenues for the month of November, based on statistics issued by the Iraq's State Organization for Marketing Oil (SOMO).

According to the statement, total crude oil exports, including condensates, reached 106,593,352 barrels, generating revenues exceeding $6,595,391,000. The Ministry added that 98,709,795 barrels were exported from oil fields in central and southern Iraq, while 7,583,733 barrels were exported from the Kurdistan Region via the Turkish port of Ceyhan. Exports to Jordan during the same period amounted to 299,824 barrels.
