PUK President: Through Our Unity, We Can Achieve Great Victories

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), congratulated the Kurdistan Region's Zakho FC fans for winning the FIFA Fan Award.

President Bafel said in a statement: 

"I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the fans of Zakho FC on winning the Fan Award.

This remarkable achievement is the result of the unity and solidarity of the Kurdish people for this beloved club. It demonstrates that through our unity and togetherness, we can achieve great victories."

The FIFA Fan Award was launched in 2016 and celebrates an exceptional expression of commitment from a fan or group of fans irrespective of league, gender or nationality. The prize can also be awarded for a moment or gesture which struck a chord with the football world.
