Iraq’s Oil Exports Reach 104.8 Million Barrels in August, Generating $7.16 Billion

The Iraqi Ministry of Oil announced on Monday, 29 September 2025, that the country’s crude oil exports for August totalled 104,806,884 barrels, generating revenues exceeding $7.16 billion.

According to a statement from the Government Media and Communication Office of the Ministry of Oil, based on final figures issued by Iraq's State Organisation for Marketing Oil (SOMO), the exports included both crude oil and condensates.

The report detailed that 103,895,706 barrels were shipped from fields in central and southern Iraq, while exports from the Qayyarah field amounted to 911,178 barrels.

The Ministry stressed that publishing monthly statistics reflects its commitment to transparency and keeping the public informed about export operations.
