Kurdish Library in Stockholm Hosts Event for Biography of PUK Founding Member

The Kurdish Library in Stockholm, Sweden, hosted an introductory event on Sunday, 17 August 2025, for the book “Ember of Ashes,” a biography detailing the life and struggle of Dr. Omar Sheikhmous, one of the founding members of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), and his wife Agneta Kling.

The two-volume book, authored in Kurdish (Sorani) by Dr. Nawzad Ali Ahmed, offers a comprehensive account of Dr. Sheikhmous and his wife's journey and struggle in life.

The event included a reading from the book, followed by an engaging question-and-answer session and in-depth discussions with participants.
