Iraq Exports Nearly 99 Million Barrels of Oil in June, Generating $6.7 Billion

Iraq’s Ministry of Oil announced on Friday, 25 July 2025, the final oil export and revenue figures for June, confirming the export of nearly 99 million barrels of crude oil during the month.

The Ministry said in a statement that, according to final data from the State Oil Marketing Organisation (SOMO), Iraq exported 98,882,613 barrels of crude in June, generating $6.698 billion in revenue.

Of the total, 97,718,994 barrels were exported from the central and southern oilfields, while 946,741 barrels were shipped from the Qayyara field. Exports to Jordan amounted to 216,878 barrels.

The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, noting that the publication of monthly export data is part of its efforts to keep the public informed about the country's oil sector performance.
