Iraq Oil Revenues Fall in April

The Iraqi Ministry of Oil announced on Tuesday, 27 May 2025, the total oil exports and revenues for April, based on final statistics released by the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO).

According to the ministry’s statement, Iraq exported 100,953,282 barrels of crude oil during the month, generating $6.738 billion in revenue.

Of the total exports, 99,752,879 barrels were shipped from the central and southern oil fields, 299,819 barrels were exported to Jordan, and 900,584 barrels came from the Qayyarah oil field.

The ministry also reported that average daily exports stood at 3.365 million barrels per day (bpd), down from 3.441 million bpd in March. The average price per barrel was approximately $66.75.
