On Wednesday, 2 April 2025, global oil prices remained stable as markets awaited new U.S. tariff announcements.

Brent crude futures rose by 1 cent to $74.50 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude increased by 3 cents to $71.23 per barrel.

Prices remain sensitive to potential supply disruptions due to U.S. threats against Russia and Iran. However, concerns over a global economic slowdown and increased supply from OPEC+ and the U.S. continue to limit gains.

Traders are closely watching geopolitical developments and trade policies for further market direction.
