Luis Ayala: We Value President Mam Jalal's Sacrifices for Humanity

On Monday, 9th December 2024, Luis Ayala, former Secretary-General of the Socialist International, visited the grave of President Mam Jalal. 

Mr. Luis Ayala was welcomed by Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Sabir, Chairman of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, and Dara Khailany, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Secretariat Bureau. 

After laying a bouquet of flowers on the grave, Mr. Ayala wrote in the memorial book, highlighting President Mam Jalal's significant contribution to the Socialist International. He noted how, as both a politician and a global leader, President Mam Jalal worked tirelessly to advance the principles of socialism and democracy, using his skills and expertise to serve Kurdistan, Iraq, and the wider world. 

Mr. Ayala concluded: "We remember with pride his invaluable service and deeply appreciate the legacy and sacrifices of President Mam Jalal for humanity."
