On the afternoon of Wednesday, November 27, 2024, Qubad Talabani, supervisor of the Secretariat Bureau of President Mam Jalal, visited the Kurdistan Justice Group (KJG) in Erbil, leading a prominent delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK). They were warmly received by Mr. Ali Bapir, the KJG Leader, along with several members of the Supreme Council and the party's Leadership.
The visit aimed to discuss the latest political developments, the future of the Kurdistan Region, the inaugural session of the Kurdistan Parliament, and the new government cabinet.
During the meeting, both parties agreed on the importance of prioritising the aspirations and welfare of citizens, stressing that the government should serve the people.
Mr. Ali Bapir shared his views on the recent elections of the Kurdistan Parliament, reiterating his stance on not participating in Parliament.
The PUK delegation acknowledged the significant role of the KJG in past stages and emphasised that the party could continue to play an influential role by being present and active in Parliament.
Another key issue raised was the matter of salaries, with a focus on addressing the injustices faced by employees and resolving the salary distribution problem, which is a fundamental right.
