President Salih meets Japanese Ambassador to Iraq

On Monday, June 4, 2022, the President of the Republic of Iraq, Barham Salih met with the Japanese Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Suzuki Kotaro. The meeting was held at al-Salam Palace in Baghdad.
President Salih emphasized how important it was to further boost Iraqi-Japanese relations across all sectors, with a focus on the need to draw on the expertise of Japan in the reconstruction and building process.
Furthermore, he hailed the Japanese government's attitude towards supporting Iraq in addition to its role in both economic and humanitarian areas.
