PUK Board of Foreign Relations recalls the party's founding member Abdul Razzaq Faili

Today, June 13, 2022, four years pass over the death of one of late President Mam Jalal's friends and a founding member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Abdul Razzaq Faili, who held many positions within the PUK and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG). 

On this anniversary, Sarkawt Muhammad Ghafur, head of the PUK's Board of Foreign Relations, and several members of the board paid a visit to the grave of the late PUK official and laid wreaths of flowers on his grave.

Abdul Razzaq Faili, died on June 13, 2018, in the city of Slemani.

He was born in Baghdad in 1945 and was one of the great figures of the liberation movement of the people of Kurdistan. He had honorable and great positions and had struggled tirelessly to liberate the people of Kurdistan from injustice and oppression.

He is the father of three girls and held many positions within the PUK and the KRG in the Kurdistan Region and abroad.
