Iraqi special forces destroy ISIS hideouts in Diyala Governorate

On Tuesday, the Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of ISIS terrorist organization hostels and hideouts in Hawi Al-Azeem district in Diyala Governorate.

The ministry said in a statement, "During the military operations that were carried out in the Hawi al-Azeem district, the heroes of the Special Forces managed to destroy (15) guest houses, (14) explosive devices, and (3) Throwing positions, (3) grenades, (7) tunnels, (3) boats, (3) mortar bombs, (3) caves that they used as hideouts, (2) a crossing and an explosive circuit, in addition to finding three gun stores."

"The military operations are continuing until the achievement of the last results," the ministry added.
