Talabani discusses several issues with the British Consul

The Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani, met on Monday, with the British Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, David Hunt, in Erbil.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the political arena in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, especially the issue of forming the new Iraqi government and resolving positions.
The two parties agreed on the need to take the path of constructive dialogue and endeavors to bring the views of the political parties closer and to make the idea of consensus and joint action the basis of work to form a new service government.
Regarding the role of the Kurds, the two sides stressed the importance of the unity of the Kurdish ranks in Baghdad, in a way that the constitutional rights and entitlements of the Kurdistan Region are a priority for dialogue.
In another aspect of the meeting, bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and Britain were discussed, and in this regard, efforts to strengthen relations in all fields were emphasized.
