Iraq announces 2,037 new cases of Covid-19, 5 deaths

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 2,037 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, raising the total number to 2,102,555 in the country.
The Ministry also said that 5 more people died from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 24,225.
281 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 2,068,357 in Iraq, the ministry added.
The new cases were recorded after 17,111 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 8,770,184 citizens.
