Iraq announces 1,610 new cases of Covid-19, 8 deaths

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 1,610 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, raising the total number to 2,100,518 in the country.
The Ministry also said that 8 more people died from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 24,220.
384 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 2,068,076 in Iraq, the ministry added.
The new cases were recorded after 17,590 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 8,735,596 citizens.
