Twenty-seven countries take part in Iraq 100 exhibition

Mayor of Baghdad, Alaa Maan, announced the participation of 27 countries in the "Iraq 100" fair, in celebration of Baghdad Day and the centenary founding of the modern Iraqi state.
Maan said in a statement on Tuesday that 27 countries participated in the "Iraq 100" poster exhibition, which was held by the Municipality of Baghdad in cooperation with the International Tamayouz Award to celebrate Baghdad Day and the centenary of the modern Iraqi state, in addition to choir activities and fireworks.
"Each country participated with creative posters to celebrate the centenary of the modern Iraqi state and the annual Baghdad Day in the Hall of the Society of Fine Artists,"Maan said,
According to a statement by the International Tamayouz Award, 100 creative productions are presented at the exhibition. Iraq 100 aims to honor a century of modern Iraq.
On November 15 of each year, Iraq celebrates Baghdad's founding day, and the General Secretariat of Baghdad and Iraqi civil society organizations hold various events on this occasion. The Abbasids built Baghdad as the capital of their kingdom. The capital and largest city of Iraq, and the second-largest Arab city, conquered by the Mongols, the Safavids, the English, and the Americans.
