The president appointed Mamousta Dr. Abdul Salam Karimi as "Adviser to the President on Ethnic and Religious Minorities Affairs."
Born in 1967, Mamousta Dr. Abdul Salam Karimi is the son of a martyr, holds a doctorate in Arabic language and literature, and has a certificate of Ijtihad from the Great Islamic Centre.
Governor of Divandarreh for 5 years, President of Payam-e-Noor of Marivan and Sanandaj University for 5 years, Deputy of Planning and Human Resources of Kurdistan Education Organisation for 5 years and several other responsibilities are amongst his executive and managerial backgrounds.
