Third day of Pomegranate Festival in Halabja

On Saturday, the third day of the Pomegranate Festival was held in Halabja and a large number of people attended the festival.

The festival is a local festival which the city hold annually during the pomegranate season.

Halabja is known for producing the best types of pomegranate. In 2020, for the first time, the city exported 100 tons of best quality pomegranates to the UK, where not only diaspora Kurds, but also senior UK officials welcomed it warmly.
