Iraqi President arrives in Davos to attend World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2023

On Monday, January 16, 2023, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, President of Iraq, arrived in Switzerland to take part in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, which will take place from January 16 to 20 in Davos.

President Rashid is anticipated to meet with leaders from businesses, governments, and economic institutions during his participation in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting to discuss a variety of topics and convey the true picture of the current security and economic stability in Iraq, which is the ideal environment to attract foreign investments that would help Iraq to develop its infrastructure and provide better public services, meeting the needs of Iraqi citizens.
