Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government resigns

The Minister of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Kamal al-Atrushi, submitted his resignation to the Prime Minister who agreed to resign.

According to a statement by the Office of the Prime Minister, the health status of the Minister of Natural Resources has been unstable for several days and has traveled outside the region to receive treatment, and he has submitted his resignation to the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister accepted the resignation, provided that al-Atrushi would remain an advisor to the government, while Kamal Muhammad Salih, Minister of Electricity, was assigned to run the acting Ministry of Natural Resources.
