Implementation of first solar electricity generation project in Slemani

Slemani General Directorate of Electricity announced on Wednesday the implementation of a project to generate electricity using solar energy.
The project covers 12,000 square meters and is located in the Family Mall of central Slemani.
The project will synthesize 2.2 MW of electricity and will be active and important for the use of clean energy in the Kurdistan region and Iraq.
