Iraqi political parties establish a new alliance in Iraq

On Tuesday, the establishment of the "Sovereignty Alliance" was announced between Al-Takadum Movement and al-Azm Alliance headed by Khamis al-Khanjar.
The new Alliance said in a statement, “Today, we are moving forward with all determination, keeping with the aspirations and the interest of our supporters, by forming a group that believes in the love of Iraq, and is steadfast in defending the rights of its people that it represents... we announce to our honorable people the establishment of a comprehensive political alliance that seeks to consolidate Iraq’s sovereignty and ensure the building of a citizenship country.”
The Alliance continued, "In cooperation with all the national forces that work to save the country and serve the citizens, the Sovereignty Alliance will never disappoint you and will not abandon your just causes, we will work to support our forces against terrorism, as we work to limit weapons."
"We will present a unified national paper that outlines the best path to salvation and the wished change," the alliance stressed.
