Kurdistan Region records 1,520 new Covid cases, 140 recoveries

Kurdistan Region has recorded 1,520 new positive cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours, raising the total number to 391,421 in the region. 

The Health Ministry said on Tuesday that there have been 5 death cases from the coronavirus during the day, bringing the death toll to 7,171. 

It also said that 140 people recovered during the day, bringing the total recoveries from the disease to 374,099. 

The Health Ministry, as usual, thanked the efforts of all health workers, calling on citizens to adhere to health instructions and to contact the hotline "122" for any emergency.
