KRG's Health Minister announces spread of fourth wave of Coronavirus

On Wednesday, KRG's Minister of Health, Dr. Saman Barzanji, announced the spread of the fourth wave of Coronavirus in the Kurdistan Region.

Dr. Saman Barzanji said in a statement, "The beginning of the rapid fourth wave of the Coronavirus and the new mutant Omicron has begun.

"Personal preventive measures must be tightened, and we call on citizens to be careful and protect themselves, their families, and children, and one of the most important preventive measures is receiving vaccinations while wearing masks and avoiding crowded gatherings and places," he added.

Barznji explained that if any symptoms of the disease appear, citizens must hurry to visit the examination centers and Covid specialized centers in the Kurdistan Region.
