Iraq announces 734 cnew cases of Covid-19, 7 deaths

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 734 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, raising the total number to 2,097,540 in the country.

The Ministry also said that 7 more people died from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 24,207.

248 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 2,067,382 in Iraq, the ministry added.

The new cases were recorded after 10,816 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.

The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 8,668,194 citizens.
