Medical Organization provides free services to patients in Khurmatu

An independent medical organization provides services to treat low-income patients in Khurmatu District, south of Kirkuk.

The supervisor of the Free Doctors activities, Dr. Ahmed Barzanji, told PUKmedia, that the Free Doctors Team is an independent medical organization that works to provide medicines and treatments free of charge to poor people and those with limited income. 

Their services are especially beneficial for over 70 patients in Khurmatu who have low income and the health status of most of them is not good, according to Dr. Ahmed. 

The organization provides examinations and sends patients to the city of Kirkuk to be re-examined by specialized doctors if they needed further tests and give them medicines, where medical services are free of charge for six months.

For his part, the representative of the (MAD) group, Aso Akram, told PUKmedia, that in cooperation with the 16th center of the Hamrin organizations of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), the Free Doctors Team was invited to the Khurmatu district.

Several people who visited the organization told PUKmedia that the organization provides free medical services and that they received the necessary medical examinations.
