President Salih, KRG Electricity Minister discuss energy issues

On Thursday, December 2, 2021, the President of the Republic of Iraq, Barham Salih met with the Electricity Minister of Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) Mr. Kamal Mohammed Salih.  

The Iraqi Minister of Electricity, Adel Karim attended the meeting. The meeting was held at al-Salam Palace in Baghdad.

The meeting placed emphasis on the importance of having further cooperation and joint coordination between the Federal Government and the KRG on energy issues.

Talks focused on the need to increase and develop electricity production, ensure better services for the citizens and share projects that would serve this matter.
