President Salih commemorates PUK's Martyrs' Day

On Sunday, the Iraqi President, Barham Salih, issued a commemoration message on the occasion of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan's Martyrs' Day.

President Salih said in a tweet, "the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan’s Martyrs' Day represents a long history of struggle of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the people of Kurdistan and Iraq that there are few of its kind."

"Remembering the occasion of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan's Martyrs' Day and the perseverance of the freedom should be by providing the people with a worthy and just life," he added.

It is noteworthy that November 21, marks the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the new revolution's Martyrs' Day, the day of the martyrs of the new revolution who defended and obtained the legitimate rights of the people of Kurdistan. The PUK gave 26,000 martyrs to achieve the rights of the people of Kurdistan.
