Iraq announces 584 new cases of Covid-19, 23 deaths

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 584 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, raising the total number to 2,074,419 in the country.

The Ministry also said that 23 more people died from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 23,665.

705 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 2,033,015 in Iraq, the ministry added.

The new cases were recorded after 13,895 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.

The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 6,991,584 citizens.
