Bafel Jalal Talabani: PUK Martyr's Day is a day of loyalty and commitment to the path of the martyrs

Bafel Jalal Talabani published a message, on the occasion of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Martyrs' Day, which reads:

For us, the PUK Martyrs' Day is a day of loyalty and commitment to the path of the martyrs' blood.

Before this honor and with deep thought, we are taking steps towards a prosperous future and we will continue the trend of organizing party life that depends on this pride. We pledge to the people, the families of the martyrs, and strugglers that we will be loyal to this responsibility and that this will is unstoppable.

For this stage and for the coming stages, which are the fruits of the difficult armed, political, and diplomatic struggle, which succeeded in building the entity of administration of the Kurdistan Region, the PUK, its strugglers, and martyrs have the lion’s share in achieving that victory, and therefore the PUK is the party of success.

The party will not stop its modern democratic, parliamentary and national struggle within the framework of the Region and Iraq until our people achieve their full rights and worthy life is ensured for the masses of our people, and this goal is achieved with the support of every member of our people.

We bow to our martyrs and renew our pledge to be the protector of the PUK and the PUK masses.

It is noteworthy that November 21, marks the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the new revolution's Martyrs' Day, the day of the martyrs of the new revolution who defended and obtained the legitimate rights of the people of Kurdistan. The PUK gave 26,000 martyrs to achieve the rights of the people of Kurdistan.
