Iraq announces 789 new cases of Covid-19, 21 deaths

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 789 new coronavirus cases on Friday, raising the total number to 2,073,267 in the country.
The Ministry also said that 21 more people died from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 23,628.
1,216 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 2,031,304 in Iraq, the ministry added.
The new cases were recorded after 17,772 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 6,941,731 citizens.
