PUK representative meets Netherlands' General Consul

On Wednesday, Bakhtiar Bakr, PUK representative in Netherlands, met with Hans Akerboom, the General Consul of the Netherlands, and Said Hakimi, Diplomat of Dutch Consulate.  

In a meeting, they discussed the relations, work, and projects and discussed the political, social, and economic situation in the region, and they insisted on the importance of peace and stability in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. 

On the other hand, the PUK representative discussed several projects and called for cooperation and support for common goals and interests that will ultimately serve to develop the humanitarian capabilities and lead to the development of the Kurdistan Region. In return, they promised to cooperate for developing the region.

Bakhtiar praised the Dutch Consulate for the meeting and the warm hospitality, saying, "It's necessary to praise the Dutch projects and cooperation in the Kurdistan Region that they always felt accountable towards the region and always stood with our people."
