Iraq announces 1,882 new cases of Covid-19, 39 deaths

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 1,882 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, raising the total number to 2,042,117 in the country.
The Ministry also said that 39 more people died from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 22,875.
2,656 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 1,979,563 in Iraq, the ministry added.
The new cases were recorded after 23,364 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 5,456,847 citizens.
